About the Multi-Focal Defocus Lenses
This is a kind of lenses used for kids and adolescents myopia management. It applys new technology of multi-focal defocus on the lenses to achieve the management for myopia.
1339 micro-lenses at the micrometer level are distributed on the lens ranging from Φ10.13 to Φ63.492(mm), creating a broader and more stable defocus zone. Each micro-lens has the same diameter and is connected to form cylindrical power, generating defocus signals. Through precise defocus amounts, it continuously sends”stop” signals to the eyeball to inhibit axial elongation and slow down refractive power increase. Thus kids and adolescents’ myopia growth speed will be mostly delayed and postponed. More important, the lenses are much more safer and wider applicability than orthokeratology lenses.
